Is it normal that i fantasize about making out with my best friend?

Ok, so I'm a pretty quiet but quirky guy. I'm bi, if it matters. Recently, I've befriended a whole new group of really awesome people, one of which I've gotten quite close with. Him and I have he typical bro type friendship, where we talk about girls, sex, boobs, you name it. He's straight but is totally supportive of me being bi, and was one of the first friends I came out to. I think I've developed a bit of crush on my best friend though, but I can't distinguish whether it's just admiration or legit infatuation, however I do fantasize sometimes about making out with him, but nothing beyond that. Is this normal? Should I tell him, will it make things weird?

    I would think so. I've had a similar experience with a female, but it was because I considered her to be almost a bestie. Until stuff happened...and my thoughts went farther than yours.

    I just thought we could do anything together. Not true. Any way, make sure you figure it out before telling him. Maybe you simply admire him.

      Idk if this counts for anything, but a few friends of ours told me he thought he was bi at one point, so Mayne that might influence this

        That could influence it.

        Edit: I also don't agree with "making out" being sexual. I make out with plenty of people and it has nothing to do with wanting sex.
