I love my girlfriend. Like, I genuinely do. I look forward to seeing her when I'm not with her, the sex is GREAT and she's my best friend.

I don't know why, but I imagine what it would be like if she cheated on me and we weren't together. I almost imagine what it would be like being single, and it weren't my fault... kinda...

I don't know if subconsciously I'm afraid of commitment or whatever.

It's weird because we have such a good relationship, and we're so close, but I still have these feelings :/

I can't see myself breaking up with her any time soon... so don't worry about replies or anything...

    i feel the EXACT same way as you, but to my boyfriend. I don't know if it's normal either, but honestly you are NOT alone, I feel identical!

    I wouldn't say that I've fantasized about it, but I have had thoughts of my past girlfriends leaving me too. Even though like you said the relationship may be good, you're always going to have negative feelings just as you do positive feelings. There is no perfect relationship. Though yours may be good as you described, everyone and everything has their faults. Somewhere down the line, I'm sure there is something that you wish were different; something that involves her?
