Exercising turns into a habit quickly. Despite what many people think, your body will like exercise and start to crave it if it is missed. When we exercise, our endorphins kick in - they're a secretion that create a "Feel Good" sensation in the brain and body. You're probably enjoying the endorphins. Don't overdo it, but if all three periods of exercise add up per day to one hour, you're doing fine. My trainer says to shake it up: vary your exercises. Do 20 minutes of cardio, 20 of the elliptical, 20 of something else, and there is your hour for the day.

You should become an Olympic athlete.

Just make sure you're not overdoing it and you're still eating enough to stay at a reasonable weight.

If you overdo it and injure yourself, you may have to stop for weeks instead of a day or two.

Also. What kind of exercises are we talking about here? Running, lifting, walking, swimming...?

You're probably fine then. Just make sure to eat enough and get protein in your diet so the muscles can recover.

Hmm. Depending on how you do it, this could be fine, or it could be unhealthy. Do you still exercise specifically to burn calories? The fact that you said you ate too little and exercised too much worries me.
