Is it normal that i enjoyment out of the disappointment of others?

Ever since I was a young and innocent child for some reason when a family member of friend asked me a simple request (such as draw something or show someone around) I would decline.

But the thing is, I wouldn't decline because I was lazy or nervous. I would decline because I liked their disappointment to some degree.

Of course, I would never go as far as hurt someone emotionally or traumatizing someone, but for some reason, those little events made me feel "good". Is this normal?

I think it's normal. Not necessarily good, but normal. You should spend more time in other peoples' shoes (not literally, figuratively) and try to relate to them.

I don't think it's normal but I can understand taking pleasure from having even such a minute amount of control over another person's feelings. I wish I could do that more often.

no it's not normal it means you are conceited. Start caring its easy trust me. Sometimes you just do things to make others feel good whether you wanna do it or not. I can see what your saying but just cut it out people probably have noticed that crap and aren't a fan lol.
