Is it normal that i enjoy the smell of menstrual blood?

For some reason, ever since I had my first period, I gained a liking to the smell of menstrual blood. Whenever my period arrives, I become excited because of the thought of being able to smell the blood. Before using the shower, I would almost always smell the pad before discarding it and any stains that might have ended up on the underwear. I really like the fishy, salty and strange smell it gives off, as well as observing the texture of the blood on the pad. I wonder if this is something any other woman out there do as well?

    Sounds gross, maybe you could work in a butcher shop of you like the smell of blood and fluids.

      It's the same with me. I also like the smell of period blood. Rather, I steal the sanitary pads and smell them and after taking out all their blood, I drink them.

    As a male I also love the smell and taste of menstrual blood, how I get it would freak you out but yes I understand your love of it wish we could share some day
