Is it normal that i enjoy spending my money as soon as i get it?

Well lately i've been digging into dating sites and anything that looks to be "Creative spending". I've been buying anything I want, maybe going after a certain type of food or clothes shopping.

Basically put.. Is it normal to spend as soon as you have money?

Sometimes spending you're money can be fun, but it's not good to get too carried away. Too much spending can lead you to a tight spot, because when you actually do "need" something, the money for it won't be there, because you would've already spent it on meaningless "wants".

Whenever you get your pay check, it's always good to set some of it aside. You never know in the future if something will sneak up.

Look up the expression "burning a hole in your pocket".

    That's how common it is.

  • I like to rack up my savings and forget about it, then when I see something I like I go through my stash and spend like crazy.

Well it peaks at the danger zone..

I'll stop shopping when I have enough money to last a week worth of basics.. Knowing this and the dangers, I still do it. :(

Depends, I guess if you have the money to spend and it's not affecting your life. You may be a compulsive shopper, i know it's been scientifically proven that shopping Is good for you, so if you enjoy it then why not?
