I'm not a moderator, but I think I can explain. You see this post isn't as stupid and pointless as it appears at first glance; it has a deeper meaning which the moderators clearly inferred when they saw it.
Potato, as portrayed in this post, does not refer to literal potato, but is in fact and allegory for the media in our current society. We take in so much needless bull shit everyday about celebrities' personal lives and about isolated crimes that have no effect on us and about many other equally irrelevant and uninteresting goings on. Nevertheless for some reason we continue to watch it and get mentally "fat" on it. There are many people who can more easily recount the exact birthdays of people that they do not know than do simple addition. This useless information has engorged out society so it is inefficient and unsustainable.
Yeah, let's judge people on the food that they like and ban them from saying they like it.
That seems totally fair.
Why do we have to wait 24 hours for our stories to pass judgement if crap like this ends up getting approved anyway?
Someone should make an IIN about this so the community can discuss.
I store a large-sized salami sausage in my pants to impersonate a guy so I HAVE STORE PROTEIN IN MY PANTS
You can survive for years eating only potatoes and drinking water, or so I've heard.
I'm going to give the OP the benefit of the doubt and assume they just don't come from an english speaking background. Potatoes actually have a lot of health benefits provided they are baked and not fried.
They contain high levels of potassium and vitamin C. They help your digestive system (because of their fiber content), regulate cellular functions, blood pressure, nerve maintenance, and may help prevent coronary disease and stroke.
However, as with all things good, keep it in moderation.
Well if you fucking like potato a lot, then eat it. It's only gonna make you poop harder. My cousin knows that all too well. He's in the hospital now lamenting his life choices. The dumb bastard....
Everyday for about one or two weeks now, I've been eating fried sliced potatoes (a pseudo hash in fried in sexy grass-fed butter) for either lunch or breakfast.
However, they don't make me gain fat. Do you Exercise? How is your digestive system? It might not be that they make you fat, it could just be that they make you bloat (like a boat who's ready to float).
