Is it normal that i eat junk food constantly and i'm still skinny

ok, so I am always eating, eaither snacking in school or chowing down at home. and it's always junk food I'm eating, like candy, chips, cookies or something. yet, I'm still skinny, not like crazy skinny, but I don't have any fat or flab AT ALL. i'm quite a couch potatoe too, though sometimes I exercise for a couple hours maybe once a week. so why am I so skinny!?

Yes it is completely normal. Some people have a fast metabolism. It is a blessing. I am really jelly of those with a fast metabolism. I'd eat like a pig if I had one but I don't. Enjoy it don't question it. Your metoblism slows down with age. I don't have one and I eat so little yet I am so fat. The struggle is real and I exercise.

ever heard of skinny fat people look into it check your body fat percentage as well not your BMI either thats not accurate enough some people such as myself at 120lbs 5ft2 are actually considered fat by the FDA i have 32% body fat i look skinny tho but am trying to get in shape because i am at the same risks health wise as your average fat person average body fat for a girl is 20-25% by the way

This is normal.. Ur body will most likely get thick if you eat healthy... This is my case, if I eat healthy I get bigger, but if I eat junk then I get skinny... Skinny isn't healthy

It won't catch up with you...never did me and I'm 31 but it can affect your system and cause loads of health problems including but not limited to blood sugar issues.

I was the exact same way... Fast forward to 26, finding it difficult to keep up with other "fit" peoples. Skinny DOESN'T equal healthy.

Runnergirls right. There are all sorts of health problems from eating junk food (and honestly even what conventional wisdom says is healthy). Eating healthy and getting exercise make you feel soooooo much better, and it will also help you live longer and stay looking and feeling younger.

Even if you can "get away with it" appearance-wise, eating healthy and being active aren't just for looks. You will feel better and have a better quality of life as you age if you take better care of yourself. But yes, this is normal for teenagers and people with high metabolisms.

I'm assuming you are a teenager, in which case it is perfectly normal. Be careful though because in your 20's your metabolism will slow down and if you don't change your eating habits you'll be fat before you know it. Trust me, I seen it happen to many people after high school.
