Is it normal that i dream paintings?

Sometimes, when dreaming, I see paintings that I've never seen before. These dreams normally feature music too, sometimes a tune I've never heard, mostly something like My Bloody Valentine or Josh Ritter. I'd like to paint one, but never kept on art...so I have no idea how to paint ANYTHING! It's so frustrating. Is dreaming paintings normal/what should I do?!?

    Some people dream in paintings, colors, sounds, animals, movements, pretty much any sense can influence a dream.

    I dream songs, paitings, buildings, etc.. I guess I'm lucky because I cant actually draw what I dream.
    take profit on it, work on you abilities, and you'll see how dreams are the best source of inspiration. =D

    Look up Salvador Dhali he shared the same affliction and is now one of the most respected painter of all time.

    I sometimes get weird but interesting architectural designs. I'd build them, but I'm not an architect.
