Is it normal that i dream of dirty toilets with no privacy?

I have this recurring dream of using dirty public toilets with no privacy. Most of the time they are unisex bathrooms. It's different every time. One time I was in a large room with rows and rows of toilets and no stalls. Many were too dirty with poop to use. Another time I dreamed that I was going to use a toilet with stalls that had French doors that opened on both sides and I was having trouble closing them to get the privacy I needed. Last night I dreamed that I was told to use a bed pan and then dump it in the toilet instead of using the toilet. Instead, I decided to rebel and use the toilet but there wasn't a toilet seat on it and I stepped into the water for some reason. I don't have to go to the bathroom when I have these dreams... they are random. Anybody able to relate?

    I have these dreams myself and I find them thoroughly disgusting. The public bathrooms have no privacy. There is human waste and filth every where and I'm usually barefoot. Some times the stall doors are too small to get through.

    Mine are always where I need to pee reeeaally bad, and the bathroom either doesn't have a door, doesn't work (not plumbed up), or it's in the middle of a room full of people. I also had one with a big square room with stalls all the way around, but when you sit, the top of the stall ends at about the middle of your chest, and after I had sat down people came in, and I discovered it was a unisex bathroom.

    Ive had a similar dream once but only i was chained to the filthy toilets anf there was a long line of people.. it was such a nice dream i wish id have it again

    I have periods when I have dreams I am in a men's bathroom (I'm a guy) and there is pee all over the floor, and I'm trying not to step in it. I start slipping in it and I've even fallen in it. Very weird, I hate men's bathrooms, and the pee on the floor or where ever grosses me out. I do love woman's pee though.

    Oh my god. I just Google searched for this exact dream. Aside from the French part (though I always have dreams about being lost in foreign countries) it's dead on. Unisex, filthy, no privacy.

    I don't believe it! I thought that dream was particular to just me =) Great to know it's common, there must be something deeply psychological to its meaning, I do like theAnomilyGuy's idea. Maybe a good idea to write down what has been happening in your life when this dream appears - note to self lol. My subterranean bathrooms are usually tiled green and steamy cos the showers are still on. Like a .... public changing room. I can hear people but they're far away, and the doors are like saloon doors but really small!

    :O I have those type of dreams too! Jeez they're so embarrassing, but they never end. They're all awkward and weird, but I can never wake up. Your normal.
