Is it normal that i dream about things before they happen?

Sometimes I have dreams (about friends family and whatnot) and what happens in the dreams and conversations i have with people happened In real life. Is this normal?

its not Deja vu.... There is a big difference between a Deja vu and what your experiencing. And I know this because I'm experiencing the exact same thing. I've had Deja vu's before and these dreams are somehting else. I dreamt of a certain event that happened to me yeasterday (19 June 2011) and I had the dream Wednesday early morning the 15th June 2011 ( there was a total lunar eclipse on the 15th ) everything that happened in my dream the conversation the emotions I felt everything happened exactly that way.. and I know this wasnt Deja vu because the moment I woke up from the dream that Wednesday morning i remebered what I dreamt and thought to myself that it could be true.. turns out it was.

Freaky I know. And I'm not a supersticious person I'm a christian but never really believed in any supernatural beings exept angels, demons and God.. but Ive learned that there are more to humans and the spiritual realm than we think.. some ppl call this a type of power, the power of psychic abilities. Its not like bending spoons with your mind its something supernatural I dont understand it yet and cant explain it myself but I want to learn more.

but NO this is not Deja vu!

It's called a Déjà vu. It is the experience of feeling sure that one has already witnessed or experienced a current situation, even though the exact circumstances of the previous encounter are uncertain and were perhaps imagined.

I wish all my dreams would come true.. Dadadadada..zzz.. Sex fantasy with hot teacher... rule the world... Oh what? Huh? Oh sorry. Yeah anyways it's happened to me before, it's happened to a lot of people. Usually for me it's Iike the exact thing happened the day before. It's weird but it's deja vu

To further explain the deja vu usually what happens is that your brain processes things twice. So the second time it does it, you feel like you saw it comming. Its a little brain glitch everyone gets fromntime to time.
