Why do chicks think they need to discuss stuff like this with the people involved? If you need to get it off your chest and talk about it, pick someone other than your BFF's squeeze, your BFF or your fiance. Pick someone suitably remote from the action.
That's basic, fundamental courtesy and common sense. This is your thing, nobody else's, and you shouldn't complicate their lives simply because you wanna talk about it.
