    I'd say it's normal. I mean sex isn't the only way to express love towards another. As long as she knows your feelings about the whole subject and understands then love shall conquer

    I say, Normal.
    It could change the process of things drastically. Maybe the sex will suck and you guys will grow apart. Maybe you'll practice and make it better. Could even happen to the point where it could be amazing...but then, what if sex takes over the whole relationship?
    If you're scared, maybe you're just not ready to take that step.
