iam 22 years old,my problem is i just cant accept it when any one make fun of me towards others,it feels like others will see me as a weak person and that might affect our relationships,like they wont care alot about me or my opinions or even my feelings coz am a weak person as they see,so whenever someone is saying stuff like hey u douchebag,kid or say u useless shit, even when he laughs, i feel bad and embrassed and cant answer him and cant laugh more and end the conversation with (ok that was funny),do u think iam over react,coz my friends tells me iam old fashion

    If you pay attention to how these people treat other people, usually it's a similar way. It's just how they interact. Guys consider this busting each other's balls, and they think it's normal. I don't find it enjoyable when my boyfriend occasionally does it to me, and I let him know that I'm not one of the guys. But if you are one of the guys, apparently you are supposed to learn to give it back to them. I guess they expect it. You probably know how to do it to them if you think about it. You have probably observed them get befuddled when somebody made some criticism of them. You are too nice to pick on them about it, but apparently you have to go for their knees like that (that is, their weak spot) for them to see you as an equal. Otherwise you have to hang out with guys who are nicer.

    I used to be that way too.....I dont know when it was but I am the complete opposite now.......
