Im 19 years old and haven't had a girlfriend in over 3 years. i constantly think about sex and want the connection with a girl so bad but can't seem to get one.I really want a gf but dont know how to go about approaching a girl out of nowhere with no 'conversation starter'.
Do you really want a girlfriend or do you want a girl that you can sleep with? If it's the former then you should try to find a girl that you have a lot in common with or who is on a similar life path as you are. If you have some basic things that you do in common, then a "conversation starter" isn't necessary. Maybe you could try a dating site like e-harmony. If it's the latter then you should just try to be charismatic and easy-going and don't be too pushy or straight-forward about it or you'll just seem awkward and perverted.

It can definitely be difficult to break the pattern of frustration when you really want something, but can't seem to get it no matter how hard you try.
It sounds like you just need to meet more people, and be in situations where you get to interact with more eligible ladies.
Some suggestions:
college. You are of college age, and in that environment, you are likely to find many ladies who may be in classes and other situations where conversation will come naturally.
Hobby. Whatever your hobby is, you might find others who enjoy the same or similar. Some of these will be ladies. You already have the activity in common, so why not strike up a conversation about that and see where things go from there.
Thinking about sex at your age is very natural and normal because you are in the midst of your sexual prime. When everything else finally falls into place, you will get a chance to not just think about it, but to also maybe try some of it out!
