    Whenever I see a question like this, all I can think is "You're on the internet. Almost everyone here is just as much of a loser/weirdo/nerd (not that that's a bad thing) as you are." Seriously, if anyone on this website cared about being "cool", we wouldn't be on this website. haha

    In all honesty, I get the feeling you are somewhat trying to be "cool", or "unique" here.

    People tend to class "cool" by how they differentiate from the social norm. That is commnknowledge, in my belief.

    So in posting this, you aren't exactly doing anything different from "the norm", because "the norm"'s idea of "cool" is not conforming and being different, which everyone tries to portray themselves as doing.

    So in actuality, you have unintentionally conformed to the whole idea of trying to be "cool".

    i agree, i just do what i like to do, it dosent matter how "cool" or "macho"(if youre a guy) it is. The fact that you can enjoy something without worrying what others think of you shows that you are very secure in yourself.
