Is it normal that i don't wear any make-up?

It's not that I don't use it because I want to look 'natural' or the kit is expensive or anything like that. I just don't see any point in wearing it. What's the point of wearing a pound of blush, lipstick, and eye-shadow when you can have an entirely natural look and not spend any money on one stupid kit? I mean absolutely no offense to those who love wearing make-up and actually put it on correctly, but I don't see what's so special about it. You can look just as good, or even better, without the damn face paint.

Instead of spending my money on kits, why not spend it on the new video game that just came out or even donate it to the poor?

Instead of wearing enough powder to consider yourself a clown, why not keep your own, natural, circus-free look?

Instead of spending 30 minutes in the bathroom applying your stuff and ignoring your husband's complaints, why not save 30 minutes and not apply anything?

My friends are always nagging me about how I don't have an ounce of make-up in my house. I always ask them these questions in the middle of their complaints, but they keep dodging the questions and continue to piss me off. The peer pressure is driving me nuts, and one friend went as far to say the the lack of make-up is the reason why I've never had anything close to a boyfriend.

Fuck her.

I'm sure that any guy I meet in the future will be grateful I don't apply a bag of flour to my face on a daily basis.

It's society too. Whenever I put on a dress for an occasion, I get AT LEAST 2-3 people who ask me why I didn't wear any kind of make-up.

So, my two questions are:
1.is it normal that I don't wear make-up?
2.Why do so many women love putting that stuff on when there's no point in it?

I can surely appreciate a woman who has a face that is beautiful without makeup. although like you, i certainly agree that makeup when applied correctly (subtly) is really attractive. Though i favor the natural look, i also understand how some women wear makeup as "war paint". Some women can over do it though.

Makeup free is so much more attractive than a girl who looks like she lost a fight with a box of crayons.

Its 100% normal, most girls use makeup because they are confused from inside(heart) and always want to look good. Not confident in natural beauty.

I actually admire you. I've been thinking of quitting putting on makeup eventually since my skin has been clearing up quite nicely with a new facial cleanser/toner/moisturizer that I've been using but it's an inner battle when I see a lot of girls around me wearing it.

Do what you want it is your fucking face. Just don't put it on your ass or tits or on your cunt.

Yes, yes it is that you don't use it because you want to look ''natural'' or the kit is expensive.

you may not see a point in it, but a lot of people do. its 100% ok (and normal) that makeup isn't for you, but the same goes for people who do like makeup. Personally, I like it because it helps me to look more like the person I imagine myself as on the inside. it gives me confidence and makes me feel cute. even when I don't leave the house, I like to fill in my eyebrows a little

    1) Of course it's normal not to.

    2) Because not everyone enjoys the same things, and some people enjoy having makeup on. Duh.

You are a girl after my own heart.
I have never dated a girl who uses makeup and never will.
First, I hate the smell. I also hate the taste and feel of lipstick.
Thirdly, as you stated, why would I want to date a clown? I have yet to see any woman make herself more attractive by adding makeup.
And last, but not least, I really enjoy waking up in the morning with the woman I went to bed with.
    Makeup bad, natural girl, good.

As a female myself, I tend to aviod make-up whenever I have the chance.
In fact, the only time I've actually had a full face of make-up was at a birthday party of my best friends. It was makeover themed.
In my opinion, fresh face is great for woman.
However, like you said, if done correctly and subtly, the result can be beautiful.
So all in all, I prefer fresh face pretty much every day. Maybe just a little make-up on special occasions.

    To each his own.
I'm a man and as most of bearers of a Y chromosome I don't wear make-up. However I don't judge other men who do. If you like it why not. It seems the same as buying nice clothes or spending a lot of time styling your hair.

Right on... you're awesome. It's a bit excessive. Done subtley it can be ok, but when it's put on with a shovel it says 'I am insecure... and shallow... ' which obviously can be good in it's own way, but there's not much respect there. It's all made out of whale semen anyway... and who wants moby's dick on their face?
