Is it normal that i don't want to date the pretty girl?

So to start off, I am a guy in college and there is this girl I like. She is very popular and is a grade ahead of me. And I'm going to be blunt about her. She is really pretty and funny. And it gets better. She is in love with me! But even though I like her I don't want to go out with her. But to clarify she isn't perfect. She does smoke weed and parties. But also remember she Is older than me.

So let's recall. She smokes, parties, and she is older. Which in my case isn't good because she hangs out with older people who are older than her, which in turn makes them older than me.

Now you have all the facts, is it normal I don't want to date her? Or should I man up?

p.s.... She seems easy.

    Damn....she sounds like an awesome chick. Beautiful, funny, and likes you. If you judged my character based on my actions in college you'de have a very innacurate perception. My point being, you're allowed to have a little fun in college. Smokin a little herb and hittin a few keggers isn't a reason to feel they are beneath you. And you don't know she fucked a bunch of dudes, you simply say she "seems" easy. Maybe it's just me, but in college the funny hot chicks that like to have a little fun are the ones to date. I guess that's how we differ. But i'm just projecting my personal preferences. If that's not what you find attractive, you'de be normal in not wanting to date her.

    If you don't share the same values then that's totally legit.

    It depends what you're looking for too. Values matter more if you're looking for a meaningful relationship... not so much if you just want a fling.

    NOW, on the otherhand, If you do all the same things of her (smoke, party, sleep around) but have some fucked up notion that any girl you date needs to be 'pure' or whatever... that's bullshit.

      fralanssko...your post is the only one that seems to be at least somewhat mature and someone who isn't either a sexual pervert, or a pothead (with the possible exceptions of Dozis and sickfreak)...so I'll respond to you...yes, I'll agree with you wholeheartedly if the writer does the things that he seems to be down on her for...then, yes, though I wouldn't necessarily put it the way you would...but he certainly would be a huge hypocrite...

    It's not about her being pretty, older, or into you. It's about YOU. If you don't feel any chemistry, or any connection whatsoever that would make you want to go out with her, then yes, it is totally normal
