Is it normal that i don't want to date a guy who's taller than me?

I used to be like most of the other women I know and want to date someone taller than me. But my current crush is about 5'8", like me. I really like that. I feel more like his "equal" if we're the same size, rather than being the little woman he has to protect from the big, scary world. I like that he doesn't overpower me. And I guess his being the same height as I am makes him seem more approachable and accessible to me. The thing is, I look at taller guys now and think, "he'd be so hot if he was a few inches shorter." Is that normal?

    Just be careful; some short guys are extra macho to make up for a perceived lack of height.

    OMG I know what you mean, I had the biggest crush on this one guy he was super short, an he was even shorter when I wearing my boots.
    You would SOO LOVE the show Ouran High School Host Club, in the show they're this boy show's who the oldest of the group an the shortest of the group, an he is so cute.

    Everyone likes different things. There are three classifications sub dom and switch. You are prob dom or switch. Me however I love guys who are much bigger and taller than me. I like being and feeling feminine

      Haven't heard of those. Interesting idea. I don't necessarily want to dominate him, I just like the idea of being seen more as an equal to him. I'm actually pretty girly, at least in my appearance. But I have a very independent personality and don't believe much in gender roles.
