Is it normal that i don't want to celebrate my 18th birthday?

Im turning 18 in 2 days,I have a 5 month old baby and my husband wants to throw me a party. But I really dont want anything for my birthday. I dont even want anybody to wish me a happy birthday. Im just not excited about it, I just want it to be like any other day.

I didn't celebrate mine either but then again, I don't usually celebrate my birthdays. I think it's normal that you don't feel like celebrating it. While, in a sense, you are going to be hitting a "milestone" when it does come it won't really feel that way. Sure, I felt different and slightly weird, relieved that I was legally able to do more things but otherwise, I'm still the same person.

How did you get married before you were 18?

18 sucks. many legal implications but you can't rent a car or get drunk. Save it up for 21 and go on a bender.

I said normal, but I wonder why. Do you feel you don't deserve it?
