Is it normal that i don't want stuff from anyone?

I don't want stuff from people, but they always send me stuff I don't want and expect me to love them for it!!!

I think I must be really spoiled or that there's something really wrong with me.

1) When my dad comes to visit me, and I'm moving, he brings me a bunch of stuff that I don't want. And it's usually broken. He gave me an old fan that didn't work at all, a really heavy blender that isn't that good, a smelly toaster oven, and he's going to give me a desk that is chunky and impossible to move! And he always comes down super early just so he can dictate when and how I move. And then he expects me to be super "grateful" for his help! I would rather buy everything myself!

2) When someone sends me a package that I don't want, and then gets mad at me when it doesn't get there.

3) I just actually DON'T WANT THINGS from people because no one knows what I like. Someone in my family gave me a paper umbrella the other day! Like what the hell????

    That's normal. I wouldn't want everyone else's crap either. Whenever someone gives me something I don't want, it just goes to goodwill. It annoys me too when people try to give my crap like they are trying to encourage me to be a hoarder. I'm like the opposite of a hoarder. If I haven't used it in a few months and it's not necessary, its time to go.

    Text or email everyone and tell them you hate them and their gifts and if you get one more thing you blow up their car or kill them in their sleep. It should stop.

    Of course, no one wants to accept someone's crap that they don't have enough sense just to throw away and instead feel like giving it to someone who doesn't need it either. I think the problem is more that people have just given you literal junk instead of legit gifts. I'm sure you'd be happier if someone gave you something that you actually were interested in but of course, you said that you don't like gifts period because people don't know what you like. Its justified to hate people's junk but I'm sure someone will hand you a nice gift sooner or later.
