Is it normal that i don't want friends?

I don't want to make friends. You have to have a very active social life and it takes a huge effort to find someone is who's genuinely good and wants to be your friend. Then there's the problem of keeping the friendship going regardless of what happens. I just don't see the point in making friends. Is it normal?
