Is it normal that i don't want children?

I don't want to have children. Not because I don't like them (I babysit and I love it.) It's because I don't want to go through the nine months of carrying a kid, I don't want to gain weight, and I don't think I can raise a kid without making a mistake. Maybe I could be a foster mom or adopt. Is it normal for me to feel this way?

Sure, why not? It's your body and your life.

Totally normal. Having a kid is the best thing that ever happened to me. But I would never recommend it because it's a lot of sacrifice and hard work.

If it's vaginal birth you're afraid of, you can elect to have a C-section.

There are tons or reasons to want kids AND tons of reasons NOT to want kids. It's your life and you should live it the way you want. People used to rudely ask me when I was going to have kids. They don't ask so much now that I'm just about 40. When they pestered me it was so annoying because they weren't going to take on the responsibility. My reasons were also private.

It makes sense to me! Personally I have very similar views; I like the idea of having kids but not the idea of pregnancy. But the good news is that there are options for people like us! :)
