Is it normal that i don't understand how i am supposed to act?

Sometimes I'll read a story and someone will say something or do something and apoligize and I dont get why they are because I didnt see a need to.Sometimes I'll get confused when someone is hurt over something and I dont get why because to me it seemed OK and nothing to be upset about. People just really confuse me sometimes and I dont get why they just do their emotions, and reactions sometimes really dont make sense to me is this normal?

Seems normal to me. People have different sensitivities. I think I'm more insensitive than most people. So I truly don't see anything to get offended about.

Other people are much more delicate. I used to be that way and it's a bit annoying to see, but that's them.

I can understand why people would feel offended usually though. I simply disagree.

Different people have different boundaries. Some people are sensitive and get offended easily and some have thicker skins and it takes a lot of offend them.

However, if you generally have problems relating to the feelings of others than perhaps you should seek professional help.

I guess it's not normal but I feel the same. Especially with jokes, I understand them, but they aren't as funny to me as to others, i'll laugh out of politeness, but if i don't have to it just makes me feel like I don't get people. Same with most other interactions, I can feign empathy but inside I'm thinking, why are they telling me this, as it's not something I personally would do.

Maybe you are just an introvert like me, or you have trouble with empathy, which could put you on the autism spectrum, depending on details... not saying you're autistic but it really is a spectrum, you may have some mild traits of it as i've been told i do...

That's exactly what I was gonna suggest. If you're autistic or aspergers then yeah it's definitely normal.
