Is it normal that i don't trust men?

Well I have recently watched a documentary about men feeling as though they're not I power and that's all good. But they had classes on how to get in bed with women and it's as though they don't want to settle down or get married or have kids. Me being brought up how I was wants to have sex after marriage so is it normal or not that I feel as though I can't trust men I don't have a stereotype by the way In case it seems like that.

Not all men are the same and men shouldn't be feared, you just got to be smart about who you date and learn to see through the bullshit. Learning takes experience, so you have to put yourself out there, but it's crucial that you have self-respect and immediately leave men who mistreat you emotionally, physically or both.

Here are a few things you need to understand if you do start dating: You're going to make mistakes, it's inevitable. It's not the end of world when you do, just pick yourself up and don't look back. Also, always, always have birth control. Can't remember to take pills? Get that shit implanted, because the last thing you need is to have a baby with some bitch. Also, use condoms, unless you're 100% sure they're clean. Don't fall for that, "It's better without," nonsense.

Good luck, I hope you meet a good man soon.

  • Was it that Reggie guy's documentary at the BBC? I thought I'd give it a go and although he was unfair and didn't listen to some parts of it, he was a bit too light when it came to the PUAs.

Yes, there are some guys like that. I'm sorry but being a guy today and the idea of kids and marriage isn't what it used to be. You don't know how much risk is involved with being a guy and settling down. You'd think finding love and settling down would be a good thing, so ask why so many men don't seem to think so.

could you explain a bit more because they didn't really seem to give reasons that I quite understood.

      • Bleh, PUAs I can't really give you their perspective because there are some small things they believe that I agree with but the vast majority of what they believe I can't say I agree with or understand.

Why some guys don't want to marry is because it's too much of a risk. Women are the vast majority of those that initiate divorce and when divorce happens the guy is more likely to be the one to get his things taken from him, his house, his children, half of his income, and in some cases can cripple him financially for the rest of his life which has led some men to suicide.

The problem isn't, "women" so much as it is a system that allows women to fuck over men which results in the possibility of some women fucking over men which results in women fucking over men. I'm not saying all women are like this or even most, just that it happens and it is a risk.

There's no real reward for men being married in today's world, just a bunch of risks.

I think it's normal, especially if you've been hurt a lot. I know that there are some great guys out there, some are just very hard to find.

Cant blame you. I dont trust bitches either. People in general tend to fuck each over all the time. Either you're the player or you're getting played. Rarely is there mutual ground.

I think you are wise to be cautious. Better to be safe than sorry. It seems like some women put themselves out there too far, which is very risky.

You sound like you've been pretty thoroughly brainwashed.
Every guy is an individual, just as every woman is. Lump them all together like that and more than likely you'll spend your life alone.
As for sex, before or after marriage, if you stay on here and read some past posts you'll find dozens of guys that don't want, can't get or are terrified of sex, so Mr. Right may well be right here on IIN.

Oh, it's you again. Forgive me, but you just seem really naive. I think you should stop projecting your problems on others and start looking inward.

I probably am seeing as I'm really inexperienced but tell me would you go into a fight you know your going to loose that's me with relationships I always feel as though they are going to break it off because I don't want to have sex yet and with previous relationships that's happened.

I can see guys being like that. Not all guys are like me for sure. Younger guys are only interested in sex for the most part. Personally, I would prefer to take things slow enough to where sex would not be awkward because there's been a certain level of mutual comfort that's been established.

How slow are you trying to take these relationships though? If you are going months where there's only kissing and you aren't attempting to go into higher gradients of sexual contact I could see how that would put guys off. If that's how long it's taking you to get comfortable you ought to make sure the guy knows what he's dealing with so he doesn't end up trying to pressure you constantly.

As in I know that all guys aren't the same but I won't automatically label a guy as untrusted it's more of a I don't want to get hurt but it's the same with girls I really don't trust girls they are so bitchy at times but I know which girls to trust however when it comes to men I don't have much experience meaning I can't always determine whether they are trust worthy it not. If that makes sense
