Is it normal that i don't trust guys

Guys at my highschool are allllllll about sex. My bestfriend plays into everything they say and gives into pressure from them and therefore she has a horrible rep. She tells me about these guys and it annoys me because I don't waste my time with bullshit like that. I want a boyfriend because I'm 17 and feel like that would be nice but I'm having a hard time trusting guys enough because they are all players..idk what to do or how to find the right guy .. :/

First off, not all guys are players.
Second, you are in high school. Sex crazed high school boys are a given.
Third, there are probably a lot of cool guys in that high school, but a lot of women like dating jerks, that's a given. I know that you might have a few really good male friends sitting in your friend zone. Why not let one in?

And if you don't, then I come to my fourth point, not all men, especially after high school, are sex crazed assholes. If you can't seem to help but attract those men than maybe there are things about yourself or the crowd that you hang around that you might need to change. But if you start out believing that most men are sex-crazed assholes - well, self-fulfilling prophecy, most of the guys you meet will be sex-crazed assholes.

That's the reason I didn't start dating anyone until I was 18 and not in High School anymore. They're in High School! Of course it's all about sex and hot girls. But not for all boys, remember that. It's normal, but they grow up and change. Well, a lot of them. You'll find someone :)

You are generalizing "all guys" based on your experience with guys that just came out the horny end of puberty! Not only are they full of raging hormones, but they are trying to look cool in front of all their friends by getting with women. When you get around an older group of guys, you will notice a difference! I remember what it was like in high school lolz, I calmed down and started wanting actual relationships instead of sex at around 20 years old.
