Is it normal, that i don't think of bdsm as being porn?

I don't think of BDSM as being porn, but more of an performance art/lifestyle. At first, I misjudged it, but now I've grown to have a much better understanding of it...

IIN, that I view it as such?

The "DS" part can also mean Dominance and submission.

It is an art form. One that just happens to make my pussy sopping wet!

I hate BDSM because it's fake. I want to actually hurt the guy.

I found that liberated open women enjoyed experimenting with bdsm as long as it was the female dominant form. In a safe space women I knew were more than willing to play femdom games including discipline and strapon play.
We watched videos read about play scenarios then acted them out.
I found some woman naturals. Put a whip in their hand and they will use it.
You have to be careful what you preach though. My X-wife made me her slave from the beginning of our relationship. She made use of a razor strop on my ass on a regular basis. Then screwed my ass with a strapon on a regular basis.

I don't view it as porn.

It could be eitther, or a bit of both. I think art needs to give the beholder a glimpse of the artists perspective. Bondage and some othe kinds of sex acts captured through video or photos can be viewed as both.

I seem to be able to tell the difference better after I've had way too much sex. Some things recognized as porn still inspire me when I'm not in the mood.

You're right, it does depend on one's perspective. Some people find it sick, while others view it as a art form. Have you seen the Japanese take on bondage? They view it as a serious art form over there.

Whatever you look at while masturbating is porn. For example, your bedroom ceiling...

You probably just don't produce much testosterone or oxytocin, and I'd guess your upbringing didn't really foster a strong sense of sexuality?

Otherwise there's no excuse, unless you've been getting laid every damn week since puberty :P

I personally cannot stand not having an orgasm at least at some regularity. Hormones would absolutely drive me insane! D:

          Pumpkin, I'm a lady:)

          And a virgin...

My family has strange views on sexuality.
So, I've had to touch and go on things (pun not intended).
I haven't been allowed to date and most of the people I know, I have no interest in them. What I'm attracted to, I wouldn't want to let my family know.

I know you're a lady. Ladies' sex drives come largely from the amount of testosterone they produce.

For me, my family never imposed any restrictions on my dating and both parents told me masturbation was normal and healthy when I hit puberty, and that I shouldn't be ashamed of it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with either of us, to be honest :P As for the upbringing... well, I personally like the idea of a child being free to express themselves and explore the world around them and all its complexities, so I might say I wish you were given a bit more freedom to do so... but I mean no disrespect to your family's values. From what I've read of your responses and such you seem well adjusted, polite, and intelligent, so they certainly didn't do a terrible job!

Also wait for love before sex :P It's worth it.

I agree, people should be given freedom. Then, you don't have to worry about weather or not what you're doing is wrong.
You're very lucky to have such understanding parents.

My whole life has been constrained in sense. From, seeing friends to the fact that I'm androgynous. Most of my family's values are based on religious bullshit and the south. Now that I'm older, I don't take what they say seriously anymore.

They taught me right and wrong, but almost overly so. Their sense of the law, is a bit twisted and nonsensical, but at least I didn't end up too bad.

I will wait for Cupid's Arrow to strike me first:)
              Thanks, for understanding:)

WTF, of course it is?! Why wouldn't it be so?

Also, mind you incase you had any "ideas", there's a strict rule on it being practiced only with Consenting Adults.

...Well, if people are being recorded doing S&M and it's being distributed on the internet or something, then it's porn. On it's own... eh, I guess not. Technically I guess you can call anything related to sex porn.

Which is slightly ironic, because the practitioners seem to consider it a lifestyle, whereas it's vice-versa for everyone else.

The only "videos" I've seen have been documentaries. I can't stop laughing when I see those, perhaps it is my sheer embarrassment for watching them?

well it can be viewed has that because the main focus alot of the time is not the sex in itself
