Is it normal that i don't see a problem here?

I am addicted to porn. I watch it every day, a lot. I don't think I can do without it.

Now I stumbled across one person's opinion that it is a bad thing. So I started thinking. Why? I don't want to ever be in a relationship with another human being, and I have my needs. So why not pornography?

Is it normal to not see a problem in porn addiction?

The problem is the word "addiction" rather than the word "porn". As soon as something becomes an addiction and you become dependent on it, your life is less than it was because you have to devote part of it to the addiction.

If by addiction you also mean a cycle of needing harder and harder things to get the same enjoyment as historically, that's also a problem.

However, if you meant that you "choose" to watch porn every day and that you'd rather see it each day rather than not see it, I'm not really sure of the problem either. I mean, it's not a great industry to work in (for some) but it's usually done out of free will. You're not harming yourself physically or shortening your lifespan. As long as it isn't harming you psychologically, it's fine.

The problem you're facing is that you're talking to people who have personal opinions against porn, and they're trying to judge you as being "bad" because you partake in something that they disapprove of.

So it's not that you have a problem, but that they have a problem.

Porn is a fun and a great way to aid viewers in self-discovery and release.

Normal. Much more normal than the panic about porn or sex "addiction". Do not let other people spoil your enjoyment and your free choice.
