Is it normal that i don't really want to meet my old friend?

So I had this friend in primary school, he was my best friend until we split in highschools. And now after 5 years we are going to be going to the same college.
Well...I dislike this idea and let me tell you why:
I got a group of friends that I hangout with already. And I don't want to be splitting up my friends that 1 day I hangout with my main gang and other day I hang out with my other friend.
He's probably not gonna try to make much new friends besides me so...that fucking bothers me. REALLY bothers me.
Is this normal???

Did I mention this bothers me?

    Yeah I have a similar situation. My really really close friend from hs came back to come to the same college and he bothers me like everyday to hang out, he yells at me if I don't answer the phone or texts, and the worst part is that he is obviously interested in having sex with me and is constantly being inappropriate. So yes I know how you feel!! The worst part is that I'm really disappointed cause we had such a great friendship in the past but this is ruining everything! I always wished that we kept in touch but now I wish I just had the memories.

    I have a similar situation. This is my last year at camp and this girl who didn't come back last year is coming back again, and we used to be best friends. The years she wasn't here, I made a new group of friends. Now she's coming back and wants to only be friends with me and no one else. She said so her self. This bothers me so much and I don't want to be friends with her since she's so clingy and annoying. This is my CIT year at camp too, so its my last year and I DON'T want her ruining it. What you should probably do is don't pay too much attention to him and he'll get the signal that you have other friends.
