Is it normal that i don't love my mom ?

Everyone tells me I cannot not love my mom or that I am a monster for hating her. But I just don't love her, I always feel like she forget that I am human, she cares too much about my future.
I don't talk to my best friend anymore because my mom was always like "Why aren't you like her ?". And she does the same thing with my older brother (always telling me I should be like him).

    well I can understand how your mom can be so annoying and seemingly clueless. However, she genuinely cares about you, although she doesn't know how to go about protecting you. Her heart is in the right place, so don't hate her TOO much.

    It's normal. Well it should be. Yu shouldn't be forced to love and respect someone just because they are your family. Love and respect is earned. But judging from your post it sounds like she does care and love you but your struggling because she's over controlling ( correct me if I'm wrong). If this is overbearing I suggest you talk to her. She just wants what's best

    Some people are lovely and some not! It's simple! There is not any world wide accepted sentence that all mothers are (or should be) lovely.
    The relation between two people has not enormous influence on their personalities.

    It's completely fine. It's not socially approprite, but sometimes people just aren't compatable, and it sounds like it's not your fault. Don't give up your friends just because of your mum though.
