Is it normal that i don't like sleeping alone

So I am I women and I have A lot of male friends because me and girls do not get along! (well i have a very small group of girl friends) any who...I have a boyfriend but due to graduate school we live in separate states...I do not like to sleep alone, i slept in the bed with my mom till i was 9...then me and my little sister had to share a bed till I was 13...then i shared a room with my little sister till i went off to college...then i had a roommate...but now i live alone (cricket, cricket) I do not like sleeping alone! so my solution is that sometimes I hang out with my male friends and then sometimes I end up sleeping over one of their houses. We sleep in the same bed, we sometimes stay up talking or watching a movie till 3 or 4 AM, we don't ever have sex, and we literally fall asleep like if a brother and sister had to sleep in the same bed. We don't cuddle or anything. I have my side...and he has his side...jus like if I was having a sleep over with a girl. Then in the mornings one of us makes breakfast...and we go our separate ways to work or school. Is this normal?

Yeah it is normal, I'm like that too, however I prefer my side her side with girls. Guys I cuddle with, but its never sexual. Girls are great slumber party buddies, guys for me are the best for thunderstorms xD.

You need to grow up! Use a pillow down beside you or a large teddy bear - that's what they are for! I'm sure your bf wouldn't be too happy to hear your rather feeble excuse for sleeping beside some other guy. If you miss the sound of someone else, leave the radio on.

that is WEIRD that the guy didn't try anything. maybe he did and you're a sound sleeper?

I hate to sleep alone too!
I solve this by ...well ...telling myself that when I am about to sleep alone I don't HAVE TO sleep, I stay up late and play games or talk to friends and watch a movie until I finally crash.

I'd say join the military. Your rack will be solitary - no way around that if you're living in barracks or in berthing (depending on which service you join). BUT... on the plus side, you'll have lots of roommates.

When I was in the Navy ... on my last ship we had maybe 200 people in one berthing. So you may sleep alone but you'll always have someone there.

And I do admit it was weird when I left and was by myself without the sounds of others around. So sometimes I went to sleep listening to a police scanner or second life voice chat.
