My mom keeps on judging and critisizing all my friends and think she controls every one ? Dafuck ... She can't make her own decisions her husband (my stepdad) basically controls her and every thing he says Is always right and if I do something and he shits me out she doesn't ever defend me even though she knows its not fair! Ha-ha so FUCK you mom (:
That's a shame. She's obviously got issues and your stepdad is only making it worse. I guess she feels like she needs to be in control of something and since you're the kid, you're the target. Were her parents controlling?
I really can't stand my mom either. I love her because she's my mom, but I would never pick her out to be my friend. We're too different.
Yes it's normal. My mother is a nasty person in many ways. She is selfish and critical. I now realize that she will never change. It's how you deal with her that will make the difference in your life. Not easy. You can move to a different state and focus on your own goals.
There might be conflict between your parents and they handle it by taking it out on you. This was kind of the same situation in my family. While I think my mom still had some issues after she left my dad she seems a lot more stable now. My dad seems more stable but I think he just wanted to get rid of his family.
Unstable people that get in a relationships and have kids are probably going to have poorly adjusted children. This is going to be because either they abuse the children or the hostile environment that gives the kids problems or that the parents will pass on the negative traits to the kids.
My dad was a paranoid possessive narcissistic dickface and my mother was a self loathing, damaged, insecure person, with a inferiority complex. Not a couple you would want having kids. I think both my parents have/had mental problems. They both are very insecure people.
