Is it normal that i don't like guys that live in my town?

I have had four boyfriends and none of them have lived within an hour of my town. I like being in long distance relationships and the guys that I know are mostly not date-able . Is it normal for me to date guys that only live far away?

If you live in a very small town, sure, it's possible that it is the quality of the guys, or just that you just are easily bored and want people that have a wider experience or more sophistication than small town people. Also, from what I hear, if you grow up in a small town, everybody knows everybody and way too much about everybody. That would put a lot of pressure on those dating.

Long-distance relationships wouldn't work for me because it makes it very inconvenient to have physical contact often enough. It's not even just sex, but touch. That's important to me. So if you avoid somebody close by just because you like to keep them at a distance and it has to be more of an event instead of something frequent and close, that would be rather antisocial. But if it is for the problems caused by being in a small town, then that would be perfectly normal to me.

It's your life and your body so do what you want but I hope you've got plenty of time and gas money.

  • It's not normal if there's any good guys in your town.

What town do you live in?

Why aren't there any good guys there?

And long distance relationships are horrible and usually don't last long not faithfully anyway.
