Is it normal that i don't know what i look like?

Every picture I'm in, every time I look in the mirror or see my reflection, I NEVER look like the image of myself that I carry around in my mind.

And then I thought about it. Do any of us really know what we look like? I mean, the only way we can look at ourselves is via reflection or photograph. We can't remove our eyes and point them towards our faces..

Anyway, is it normal that I truly don't know what I look like?

    I look different in pictures, videos, reflextion, and reality, I think. I look different in each one. Some of them I look very ugly, in my opinion, and others not so much. It irritates me, because I spend a lot of my time trying to figure out if "reality" me is attractive or not.

    I look like shit so it doesn't matter to me.

    I wondered this as well. And what I did was that I stood in front of a mirror with a person next to me. I looked at the person really well then looked at their reflection to see if it was the same. It was. If they're reflection was the same, why can't mine be?

    "We can't remove our eyes and point them towards our faces" - Annoying thought that annoys us all but we never have serious commentary on this. We need to be able to take our eyes out and see how others see us. SCIENCTISTS & ENGINEERS, GET ON YOUR JOB GUYS.
