Hi um I have looked at girls questions on here about masturbating right and they always talk about their clit so I am a girl but is it normal that I don't know what a clit is? Also can someone tell me what a clit is....
Don't feel bad. I didn't figure out where my clit was til I was around 18. Believe me when you touch it you'll know you've found it.
The clit is the little bump under your skin,usually right between the Labia(vaginal lips) at the bottom of your pubic bone/mound...so at the top of your vagina. It is covered with a thin layer of skin usually called the hood.Take a mirror & look,using 2 fingers (best ones are ur middle finger & pointer finger) start at the bottom of vagina crack(near your bum hole)& place fingers flat against the 2 outer labia/lips & slide ur fingers up slowly untill u reach the top , where the labia comes together & ull feel ur pubic bone right under or above where the labia comes together & wont spread apart.Feel ur pubic bone.<ur clit is generally right on top of the start of pubic bone or just below it and if u gently spread the labia as u go up u may find the clit a bit easier cuz once u reach the pubic bone and the labia cant spread apart because they come together thats where the clit will be, & it will be right under/between ur 2 fingers.Once at the pubic bone and just above the entrance to vagina hole u should feel the sensitive little bump, its size can vary individually but generally around the size of a pea.When at the top of ur 2 outer labia, where they join together, u can pull up on the skin in between labia and the clit will be exposed in most girls but everyones anatomy varies so it can be a bit more difficult to see/find on some girls in order to find it u may have to spread the labia apart a bit more or less or maybe not at all...just depends on ur anatomy and how your vagina is designed. Some girls have bigger labia and or bigger mound and clit may be nestled in farther under more skin/ padding. Some girls have barely any labia and so the clit may be just right at bottom of the mound of fat/padding that covers the pubic bone/mound. I personally can not handle any stimulation or touching of my clit if the hood is pulled up because it is way too sensitive. You will notice that when you get arroused/really turned on your clit will most likely get bigger and may become more firm & sensitive. It is almost always the most sensitive part of your vagina. Get a mirror and pay attention to how it looks & feels as u examine it, theres nothing wrong with that. Follow the crack of your vagina up & usually right where the crack of your labia/lips come together & meet your mound (the top part of your vagina) is where you will find your clit.
I think if you feel around down there you will be soon be able to feel where the most sensitive part is & there will be the almighty clit..or button to press lol. Just under your clit is your Urethera(your pee hole) and it is very sensitive too but in an uncomfortable way (at least for most girls its uncomfy to touch the Ureathera lol) so where you feel the most sensitive in a good way is most likely your clit. Especially if you notice it feels like a little ball or a kind of elongated ball...kinda like a little tiny miniature uncircumsized penis head lol and it varies in color but usually it is pink or a darker pink or redish..may be covered in white also, as there are secretions and sebum around the clit.
