Is it normal that i don't have friends?

I went to college in another state and lost all contact with my high school friends. After graduating, I moved back home for grad school. Now I just go to school (and work - I work at school) and go home. I get along very well with people and am sociable, but I just don't have any real, close friendships. I'm always with my grad school classmates at school, but once school is out, everyone has their own lives.

It was kind of like this in high school as well, although when I was in high school I did have a few good friends who I would hang out with outside of school. Now that I've lost contact with all of them, I don't have friends here in my home state. As those few friends are far away in another state, and I wasn't actually good friends with anyone that's also moved back here, I have no friends.

Be that person that you were in high school. Force yourself to interact with others and keep being yourself.

This happened to me too. Cause everyone's lives change when they graduate high school and it's hard to maintain close friendships sometimes when you don't even live in the same state. It's totally normal.
