Is it normal that i don't have eating habits?
I'm 20,female, have a BMI of 28, I exercise moderately(4-5 times/week 30 min bike to college; +1-2 times/week running -1hr), and I actually enjoy cooking and eating healthy dishes (except red meat). It is not a matter of lacking information or time or a dislike of broccoli, but rather that my habits are really, really bad.
Basically, there are two kind of days:
The one where I get up at 7, and kinda forget about eating food (maybe an apple or something) until 20:00 and later. Then, I typically indulge in a rather rich, carbohydrate binge.. ( huge boal of oatmeal, or pasta), and then, a few hours later, just before bed, I usually eat some veggies..
The other kind of day starts with a breakfeast (yogurt+fruit) at 8, and then something small (like a sandwich) at 14-15 pm, and then I cook something at 20pm (usually trying to mix veggies and protein, or just make pasta)
Unfortunately, the first kind of day happens far too regular (like every second day). If I'm consciously trying to control it, I usually last for a few days and then..
Well, but it's not getting better. It's getting worse.
Today I had nothing until 22pm, and then some crepes my friend left..
It feels like my eating behaviour is spiraling out of control, and I don't like that. I can't really afford professional help, so what do you suggest?
