I'm in college and I haven't had a facebook since like 10th grade. I live in a small town so most of my friends were people from here. I was constantly seeing statuses that were ignorant, racist, homophobic, etc. One day I saw a status saying Obama was taking christmas trees out of the white house because he was muslim, and that was just the last straw! I just couldn't take it anymore!

    I often see post about people complaining about Facebook. I think that the problem is that you expect too much of it. It's just a site where you can post a statuses, pictures etc... You take this too seriously

    I recently deactivated mine. Most of the things people post are pointless. I don't really see the point since I'm not much of a social person anyway.
