Is it normal that i don´t get scared with sk's books?

I´ve read more than ten books of Stephen King, the "Master of horror". I've read comments online that people get scared by his books, but i just read them, like them, but not get any reaction besides that. IIN?

  • I've found a few mildly disturbing, the most so being the part in 'salems Lot where the McDougall lady finds Randy, her ten-month-old child, dead on a corner... The image stayed with me for a week, and even now, I am able to call up the image with horrible clarity... Sweet dreams!

I love his books also. I have many many of them. I would say they don't scare me either. I read Geralds Game and that bothered me alot. Not scarey, but ewww!

    • i read Geralds Game last week. I really got bored after the first 100 pages, but it gets good in the end though.

I think it's just because some people really get into the story and others just read.

Read The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty. You won't sleep.

Somehow, I think I could sleep no matter what I read or watched. (fiction, at least) :).
