i never get invited to the same social gatherings that my friends are getting invited to. sometimes all of them go, but i'm not invited. what the hell?
On one occasion my very good friend was having a party and when i heard she said to me, "I didn't invite you because I knew you wouldn't enjoy it. They were not your sort of people."
She was right and I accepted that she knew me well enough. Perhaps, this is the same for you?..
I don't recall requiring an invitation to a party in my drinking days.
There's a difference between gathering and party though.
If your friends were your friends, they would invite you to parties without you having to bring anything up.
it is probably cus the people don't know you well enough.
Or it is because they hate you for some reason.
Or it is because your friends are two-faced and don't care!
