Is it normal that i don't find many people attractive?

My friends are concerned about me because I don't find people who are normally perceived as attractive that attractive. They'll say "Yeah, they're really attractive, damn!" So then I turn around and say "He's alright." It's not that I don't find anyone attractive, it's just that I only find a few people here and there. I've never been overly-obsessed and never fangirl, which I'm not sure is normal or not. Is it?

    We each have our own tastes and preferences. For instance, I have never understood how Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor are supposed to be 'beautiful'. They both look like someone's friend's aunt to me.

    And what I find attractive personally is always a great source of amusement to my friends. My current lady is absolutely the most gorgeous creature I have EVER seen, although I have heard her described as 'average' and 'plain'. Twats.

    Yep, I know that feeling. Pretty much the same for me, I only find very few guys really (sexually) appealing. You'll never hear me saying "omg he is hot" until he really, REALLY is.

    Do you mean sexually attractive? Or in general. If in general then I'd say you're being pretty judgemental and exaggerating who you think you are.

    Yeah I only find certain types of desi or middle-eastern girls beautiful.
    I think most Hollywood celebs are at most plain or at worst downright ugly. Same for top models.

    I feel that way, though it's life. You sound slightly younger from your post, though I would say it's a mature response. I believe that I have the same issue as you, because someone's personality makes them attractive or not to me.

      Yeah, if I'm ever into any guys they're white. I've never been into any other race.
