Is it normal that i don't feel bad about lying?

Is it normal that I do not feel bad about lying, like at all? My parents had very strong morals and were very honest people, and of course I was always taught that lying is bad, that I shouldn't do it. Therefore, I find it strange that I do not feel bad about lying, and some other things that are considered "bad", like cheating (tests, not relationships), stealing etc. I find it strange since it is the opposite of what I've been taught. Is this normal?

Trust me. Once you lied frequently. Lying won't make you guilty at all which makes it more worse.

"One must lie under certain circumstances and at all times when one can't do anything about them."

Ultimately, it depends on the situation and how the lie affects others. It's normal to not feel bad about white lies, but for more serious lies, you should probably feel some guilt.

I don't think anyone really feels bad about it. They only feel bad about harming another person and usually lying does that so that is where I think the problem with lying comes in. Buy why lie anyway? Sometimes it's fun to tell wild stories but you don't have to make people actually believe you did the things in the wild stories to make people interested. If you're lying about stealing or something well...who would? If you don't feel bad about stealing why would you feel bad about lying about it? You would feel good about it because you got away with it haha.

I think it's a kind of psychology of the obedience maybe? I'm not sure if you're normal or not, it depends the degrees of the lie.
