Is it normal that i don't eat fruits or vegetables?

I almost never eat anything other than meat, grain and dairy products and yet I'm of a perfectly normal weight (5'10'' and 160 pounds) and am perfectly healthy. Is this normal, or should I start forcing myself to eat fruits and vegetables so that I don't end up killing myself?

But without fibre, pooping can be a painful, painful time of the day.

Nah. I don't ever eat any vegetables, and I get constipated sometimes, but never that bad.

Just because you're healthy now doesn't mean that you will later.

Its not good at all. You must eat something with vitamin C or youd have scurvy. You should at least eat fruit and veggies if only once a week or drink juice or V8 or something.
I love fruit and veggies but not everyone does.
I agree, you will feel fine for a while but eventually you will get some problem.

No, your body needs the vitamins/minerals and fibre that fruits and vegetables contain. How do you go to the toilet if you aren't getting fibre? Do you have a "bad" smell? Try out things like whole grain pasta, buckwheat, smoothies, sandwiches, etc.

Maybe you feel healthy but if you started including a good balance of vegetables and fruits then you would feel a lot better. You're probably young and whatnot. But did you know that you're on borrowed time? this is the sort of thing that over time you could very well develop cancer. You're depriving yourself of all the benefits of fruits and vegetables.

Do you poop? Do you take a multi-vitamin? I would at least do that(multi). Fruits and veggies give you much needed vitamins and minerals that help your entire body function properly. You can get them from other supplements, but it is much better in food form. Some contain antioxidants that fight free radicals in your body that damage your much needed cells, including brain cells. Did you know that vitamin C doesn't just help your immune system? It does many things! Even helps with your body's production of collagen which helps with healthy skin and elasticity. So getting your fruits and greens might not make you just feel good, but look good too!! :)

Get acquainted with salads and try an apple every once in a while.

Don't you get constipated most of the time, no hemorrhoids?!

Just because you are a perfect weight doesn't mean that you are healthy. I would make a serious effort to start eating better.

  • There's no need to if you're healthy.

  • I know someone who is allergic to all fruits n' vegitables accept strawberries n' pineapple. It has to do with his pallet and some biological oddity or somethin. It is normal, but it's strange. You don't need to eat those things if you're gettin all your vitamins n' minerals from other foods. It's not like orange juice is the only source of vitamin C, and fruit/vegi juices are in lots of foods now-a-days without you knowin. You're fine, weirdo...
