Is it normal that i don't believe in love?

I've been single for a while but I have dated. But I never feel like this is right. That I actually might like this guy. So when a guy says he loves me after dating for a year I still can't say it back because I don't feel that way. So I feel like I'll never find the " one." so I don't believe in love. Plus I don't have that many friends and the friends I do have are my best friends! Is it normal or do I have a problem?

    Just because love doesn't exist inside you doesn't mean it's nonexistent, that's usually a statement made by scorned victims of love. Those people are in denial usually because if it didn't exist in the first place then what made them feel like shit?. Sometimes you can only feel what you are willing to feel, I won't say you will in the future but I wouldn't say you will not either.

    I've liked girls, but I've only really been in love once. It was an amazing feeling while it lasted, but when I told her I liked her, we weren't even friends anymore. It's sad when the only person you have ever been in love with won't even be your friend...it actually makes me angry when people complain about being friendzoned.

    Stop being such a weirdo. Love is when you find someone that you know you want to spend the rest of your life with. The feeling are caused by chemicals in your body. There's nothing magical about it so there's nothing for you to not believe in. Love is obviously real but your not gonna find it until you stop feeling sorry for yourself. Not to mention you have to be happy with yourself as well which you're obviously not.

      Not true. The world isn't falling apart due to people not participating in romance, It's because the cruel and the wicked are having their way. It doesn't matter if you don't believe in romance or not. Unless there are Revolutions worldwide to take back our power and freedom, the good and the kind will never win.

    Maybe your time just hasn't come yet and you will fall in love in the future. Keep the faith because love is amazing.

    I don't believe in love in a "the one" sense, but I believe in the ability to love someone. Some people fall in love easily, and it naturally follows that some people don't fall in love easily; you sound like such a person. I don't have that problem so I can't help, but some people here are bound to be able to give you some more helpful advice.

    Regardless if love exists or not, it's unimportant. You don't need love to live a fulfilling life. Society makes us think that we NEED love in order to be happy and nothing else matters. If you don't feel like you can "love" then don't go searching for it. Focus on making yourself happy and successful.
