Is it normal that i do this when impulsively shopping?

When I get stressed or upset I go impulsively decide to go to the grocery store, and go all over filling up my cart with anything that looks tasty into my cart. When I get to the register, I act like I left my card at home, and ask for the purchase to be suspended while run back and get it. Then I never go back to the store. That way I can satisfy my shopping impulses without harming my wallet or my weight. Is this normal?

Wow, you sure put a lot of other people out so you can satisfy YOUR needs. Pretty damn selfish, don't you think? Or did you imagine all those items were going to just fly themselves back onto the shelves from which you got them?

You really should see a therapist to help you to find a better way to cope. This is unfair to the staff. It might also make you have a bad reputation should you ever decide to go back to the store and shop for real.

You need to find a better coping mechanism than this one, what you're doing isn't fair on the minimum wage staff who have to sort out the trouble you're causing.

Wow, please don't do that. I work retail and this pisses employees off the most, we don't have the time to do our normal jobs let alone restock a full shopping cart.

Wow. A creative new offensive strategy in the game of assholeism.

How would you like it if someone piled all your furniture into the middle of a room? Hmm?

as long as you dont grab anything that has to be kept cold like meat or ice cream witch has to be thrown away rather than be put back on the shelf like anything else your not wasteing food at least but you are makeing a lot of extra work for the cashier not to mention creating a line nobody likes lines and some body has to put it back on the shelf like i said though as long as you arent takeing frozen food and wasteing it your good with me a lot more people do this then you think on purpose or not

I'm not sure... When I was little(er) I would fill out a little basket with stuff I wanted to get. Mainly candy. But as a grown woman though...Hell no. Stop doing that shit. Handle your problems.

I honestly think it's a great idea. Might go try it out.

This doesn't make het an asshole, its a compulsion, its like bulimia, "filling up the cart" then purging , not actually following through witj your consumer items (try not to feel so empty or stressed, if you feel an emptiness/stress, try facing it, name it, own it, then purge the obsession instead and/or cope directly
