Is it normal that i do things without ever knowing i did them?

The most recent stuff, My girlfriend told me that I walked over kissed her on the forehead and told her that "she is as beautiful as a shooting star" and then slept on the couch. The next day I was taking a hot shower and ten minutes in the water it started getting real cold fast. I quickly went to turn the nozzle to the warmer side and it had been turned over into the cold setting not by me. No one else was home. I have no memory of doing these things, but its finally starting to freak me out. Is this normal?

    You could actually have a disorder. I know about multiple personality disorder where you are practically like two different people in your mind. While you are acting as the one person, your true mind will have no memory of anything that you had said or done.

    No I don't do drugs or alcohol. Just was hoping other people had experienced this making it normal or just a phase of something.

    Do you drink or take drugs? When I was drinking a lot, I'd have blackouts very frequently. I'd carry a small notepad around with me and make notes of anything I was doing that might seem relevant the next day. One morning I was most surprised to find that the previous evening I had incited a revolution and got sixteen people to follow me. I still have the notepad which includes all their signatures. Aside from those scrawls, I still have absolutely no idea what I did or where.

    Loss of memory is potentially very scary. It scares me more now than it did at the time. If yours is not narcotically induced, then seek medical opinion as soon as you can.

    stuff like that has happened to me b4, but all of my weirdness happened when i was either sleep or bored.

    Ive had moments like that
    I stayed up the whole night and
    I remember eating some toast then
    I drifted off and found myself having a shower
