Is it normal that i did nothing for 4 years as a teen?

I had really bad acne when I was like 15-16. I got a job but my acne became so bad that I ended up quitting. For the next four years of my life I never left my house. Im now 20 and am ready to live again. But I feel bad because I did absolutely nothing in my teen years. Is it normal I chose to do nothing because of my acne?
