Is it normal that i detest festivals?

Specifically, the outdoor art/music festivals that your town gets all hyped up about every year so that you feel like you must be the biggest misanthrope on the planet for having zero interest in them. Even if there are some bands that I like, I just cannot stand the squalor, the crowds, garbage, rent-a-cops, and food. I just think they are so lame and a waste of money and they make me feel sad and empty and devoid of humanity.

    I don't know if I am normal. But I hate big festivals too. I hate crowds. Even more crowds of people my age. And worst: Crowds of drunk people my age.

    I hate being around lots of people. I think I've been to about two. One in washington d.c and one either in NYC or Europe?. I have been to parades. I know that they're not really festivals, but they're similar in construction. The people always start getting carried away, loud, and become extremely stupid. I really hate it>_<
