All my life I've had a thirst for human blood, and I have acted on my impulses. I want to know if this is normal. And I don't really want to stop or anything, so is there a way to receive blood safely from willing subjects? And is it normal to get I'll if you haven't had blood in a while?
SAME FOR ME, only i want brains, and only since i turned into a zombie... never felt like that when i was human...
ok, to all the fuck heads who think this craving is a joke.. fuck you... it's a disorder, it's real and has nothing to with Stephanie Myers and vampires... if you knew what you were talking about you wouldn't be idiotically rambling about twilight "this society" and how weird it is... it's actually more common than people like to accept, or are willing to accept of themselves. Just because it's a craving doesn't mean it needs to be acted upon. To the guy/girl whom posted this question, don't feel alone, it's not necessarily "normal" but normal is what your perspective of "normal" is. I know a decent amount of people who actually crave fresh human blood, and unfortunately cow, pig, horse, etc. blood, doesn't satiate the craving you have, like Scar13 said, there are people who are willing to have a little of their blood drained from them to satiate you for awhile... To everyone else who may call this person a freak, or abnormal, shame on you. Think about yourself and why you're on this site in the first place, the most likely reason is you're not normal, because of what society doesn't accept. The craving of human blood has nothing to do with the "obsession" of vampires, and everything to do with the "myth" of where the legend of vampires came from, granted, TRUE vampires whether you believe in them or not are mortals just like you and i, only they DON'T crave blood, see the irony? they simply no longer posses a soul because they have willing relinquished theirs in order to no longer have a conscious,.. or for you idiots out there, do any thing they want without guilt. The blood drinking part of it all was invented for horror, to make people fear what they have no idea about... SO, that said, you can find others out there like you if you wish, most prefer not to, we don't like being put out there in the spot light. But when i saw this, i saw it necessary to put in my 2 sense, since you were being bashed over something these people know nothing about.. Some of these people who comment on here may be religious and that's why they thing it's wrong and disgusting but tell me this if it's so wrong and so disgusting why did YOUR god make us this way, make us able to feel these cravings as we do? I have stopped a long time ago trying to find my own answers, I spent years since I was 13.... now I am 24 years old and I still haven't found those answers to why or what the fuck I have been dealing with for so long, I also given up trying to find such answers on the internet wondering if other people are dealing with what has plagued me since, the truth.... I found out that you can’t trust or believe in anything what people say or claim because in trying to find such answers there are too many batshit crazy as fuck people out there that think "vampires" are real or they claim to be "real vampires" even go as far as calling themselves " Sanguinarians " just cause they drink blood in which all of that shit is false and people want to believe in a fictional world of their own.... or they are really just insane, so that's why I have stopped for a long time finding real answers or others like me, the truth I feel inside of me is.... No there is no such thing as "real vampires" those are creatures of science fiction and fantasy.... but is most commonly used to try to have some explanation because of that only common thing is Blood...... when I came to my own conclusions, thoughts and possible theories is that there is no such thing as "vampires" .... .... But there are real people in this world with real blood cravings that is like no other addiction or anything else, it's so much more different, so much stronger and harder than any crack addict or alcoholic, I can’t even begin to fully explain what it is or where it came from, but my own theory is that I was thinking maybe that's where the whole "vampire" myth started so long ago when people lived such superstitious and religious lives that blinded them from reality into such a fictional world that is to this day in our world culture, it's only a thought no more than that but it why I have to say this... I have been trying so hard so many times to find people like me but was never successful and why I brought up the word "vampire" because every time I look for those answers that word always came up and there isn't a real word to give to this, all I know is what all this is not, it's not anything inhuman, it's not a disease or sickness like the clinically term known as "clinical vampirism or Renfield syndrome and mental disorder such as Schizophrenia, or any sexual fetishes, Goth vampire lifestylers, or even true insanity. That's what I found out about myself, but the truth is there are a lot of people for these things are very much true in a lot of cases, I have looked into each very seriously and there was even times where I tried to force myself to believe I really was crazy and it’s all in my head, but no matter how much I told myself that just to make it easier for an explanation, I knew.... something was different and didn't fit with what I was and still am dealing with....

Ok. If one more person states Twilight again I'm going to think your life is so lame that this is the only movie you have ever seen. The Lost Boys was a WAY better movie anyway. That said, you are not alone in this craving. It is in part psychological and the other part goes back to being a mammal. Since the beginning humans have consumed blood in one way or another. So unless you are a true vegan then you have had blood even in an amount you may not have noticed. Even well done steaks have burnt blood. So that probably shut at least 75% of the conversationalist out from their "knowledgable" statements. Have a nice day.

As it may not be 'normal' people do crave blood. I myself do at times. I don't act apon the craving but it comes and goes. You are not alone. Anyone who says you are a freak, simply doesn't understand.
P.s If the person didn't say anything about Twilight, how would this question have anything to do with it? They did not say anything about vampires, they just want to know if anyone else feels this way. You should respect them, just for putting therself out there.

Do you kno of a less painfull way to get blood from someone whos willing though? I have someone who will, but they are afraid to do it again because of the pain.
I know I am late, and I am pretty sure you figured this out already, but there, unfortunately, is no way to get blood without it being painful for the donor. Unless, of course, you put the donor to sleep first. But even after they wake up they will feel the pain of how you took their blood. But other than that there is no way to make it any less painful than it is for the donor now.

Yeah, I dip toes in plasma and scarf them down pretty fast. It's like your classic lunchroom chicken nuggets.
Some people crave attention and this is just another way of doing it. For example my friend once told me she had killed someone. I blatantly said, "No you haven't" to which she responded "yeah you're right." and had a laugh.

Actually I do know because there is a term for people who like blood, hematolagnia.
And yes, some people do crave attention but mostly never to look cool, your example at best is juvenile, since no one would believe their friend had killed someone, while it is entirely possible the OP does have a fondness for blood.
Some people like cake, some people like violins, some people like blood.
Some people do crave blood but it's more a kinky thing than anything else.
I know I don't mind blood and it's strangely fascinating to me but I don't actively seek it out.
Just be careful though, there are a lot of blood diseases so make sure you take sensible precautions before doing anything.
