Is it normal that i constantly get hot/cold flashes?

I walk around almost everyday with hot and cold flashes, like when you're sick, but without the other flu symptoms. They're kind of on-off throughout the day, but I never have a fever. Sometimes it comes with shivers. I'm not sure if it's phycological or what, IIN?
